Paper friends
Wasn't up to hanging out with people today so I hung out with books instead.
This seems to be a pretty good book on the topic (and not only because TypePad gets its own section in picking a blog tool, separate from the "Blogger, Movable Type and WordPress" section, for having built-in podcast support). On the other hand, as a blog technologist and a podcast user, I already knew enough of it that I wouldn't buy the book unless I got really serious about running a podcast. I also thumbed through Podcasting Hacks, and found there's a service called GigaDial that does what podklatsch/jaxfly was going to do (podcast reblogging). Good to know!
Kind of the opposite of Biologists Helping Bookstores, I guess.
I looked for this exact book at this exact B&N more than a year ago and now they have two copies, one cover out on the top shelf.
I walked out with Year's Best SF 12.
